Dr Thomas Pfeiffer

Thomas Pfeiffer is Senior Director of R&D and Innovation and co-founder at Pangea Bio. Thomas is a life scientist and biotech entrepreneur. He was previously Director of Pipeline Projects at Quercis Pharma, a clinical-stage biotech company developing a flavonoid-based antithrombotic.

Prior to venturing into biotech, Thomas was Senior Researcher at University College London and part-time scientific consultant. He holds a PhD in Neuroscience from Bordeaux University and a MSc in Molecular Biosciences from Heidelberg University. In a nutshell Thomas’ research focused on deciphering the interaction of brain cells, the immune system and the vasculature in health and disease. Thomas has published his research in high-impact journals (e.g. Science and Nature journals), held prestigious fellowships, and coordinated and collaborated with research teams worldwide.
